Shipping and provinces
We are not shipping anywhere yet. When the store opens, we will ship within Canada only, and only to provinces and territories where we can sell legally.
Before shipping opens to a province or territory we need: stock carrying that jurisdiction's federal vaping excise stamp, any provincial licence or registration that applies, and sign-off from a Canadian lawyer.
How parcels will be sent
- Canada only, by ground service.
- Age-verified delivery (Canada Post Proof of Age or a courier's equivalent). The carrier checks ID at the door against the minimum age for the destination province.
- Parcels are not left unattended, and are not handed to anyone under the minimum age.
- No delivery to addresses where the carrier cannot check ID. [TBC: PO box and parcel locker policy]
- Orders to provinces we do not serve are refused.
- [TBC: shipping rates and delivery times]
Province and territory rules
Our status for each province is shown first, followed by a short summary of the provincial rules we found. "Verified" means we read the rule on the cited government or legislative source. "Unconfirmed" means it came from a secondary source or is our reading of the rules and still needs checking. Federal rules apply everywhere, including a nicotine limit of 20 mg/mL.
| Province or territory | Minimum age | Our status | Online sales | Flavour restrictions | Label | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| British Columbia | 19+ | Planned | Not directly addressed. A Notice of Intent and product reports are required for sales premises; whether an out-of-province online seller must file is to be confirmed with the BC Ministry of Health. | Only tobacco flavour at premises open to all ages; other flavours only at age-restricted premises. How this applies to online sales is unconfirmed, so we will treat online sales as tobacco flavour only. | verified (age, premises rules); unconfirmed (online treatment) | |
| Alberta | 18+ | Planned | Not addressed in the provincial guidance. Alberta excise stamp required. | No provincial flavour ban verified in force. Bill 208 (2026), a private member's bill, would restrict flavoured single-use products; its status is unconfirmed. | verified (age); unconfirmed (Bill 208 status) | |
| Saskatchewan | 19+ | Planned | Not addressed in the provincial guidance. | Since September 1, 2021, most flavours are sold only in adult-only specialty vape shops; stores open to minors may sell only tobacco and mint or menthol flavours. How this applies to online sales is unconfirmed. | verified (age, flavour rule); unconfirmed (online treatment) | |
| Manitoba | 18+ | Planned | Not addressed. Manitoba excise stamp required. | No provincial flavour restriction found. | verified (2015 amending Act; current consolidation not checked) | |
| Ontario | 19+ | Planned | Allowed with a system to verify the age of every potential customer; couriers should be briefed or parcels marked 19+. ID is required for anyone who appears under 25. Bill 125 (2026) would ban online sales and raise the age to 21; it is at first reading and is not law. | Flavours other than tobacco, mint or menthol are sold only in registered specialty vape stores. Whether an online-only seller may sell other flavours into Ontario is unconfirmed, so we will not. | verified (age, online rule, Bill 125 stage); unconfirmed (online flavour treatment) | |
| Quebec | 18+ | Will not ship | Vaping products follow the same rules as tobacco: sales must take place in an enclosed point of sale with the buyer present. We treat online sales into Quebec as prohibited. | Flavours other than tobacco are banned. | verified (age, flavour ban); unconfirmed (that the online ban applies to vaping products) | |
| New Brunswick | 19+ | On hold | A licence is required to operate an e-cigarette sales outlet, and the outlet may operate only at the licensed location. The Act has no remote-sales provisions. On hold until a licence is held and a lawyer confirms remote sales are allowed. | Any noticeable flavour other than tobacco is banned. | verified (age, licence, flavour ban); unconfirmed (online sales) | |
| Nova Scotia | 19+ | On hold | Retailers must hold a provincial licence to sell vaping products. Online rules are not confirmed. Only Nova Scotia-stamped product may be sold there from July 1, 2026. On hold until a licence is held and a lawyer confirms remote sales are allowed. | Flavoured vaping products are banned (since April 1, 2020). | verified (age, licence, flavour ban, stamp); unconfirmed (online rules) | |
| Prince Edward Island | 21+ | Will not ship | Vaping products may be sold only in a tobacconist shop. An online sale into PEI is very likely a sale outside a tobacconist shop, so we will not ship there. | Prescribed flavouring agents are banned (since March 1, 2021). | verified (age, tobacconist-shop rule, flavour ban); unconfirmed (online inference) | |
| Newfoundland and Labrador | 19+ (unconfirmed) | Planned | Online rules are not confirmed. | A flavour ban and licensing were proposed in a 2024 consultation; nothing enacted was found. | unconfirmed (age from a secondary source); verified (consultation page) | |
| Yukon | 19+ | Planned | Online rules are not confirmed. Yukon excise stamp required. | Not verified. | verified (age); unconfirmed (other rules) | |
| Northwest Territories | 19+ | Planned | Online rules are not confirmed. NWT excise stamp required. | Flavours other than tobacco banned from March 25, 2022 (secondary source). | verified (age); unconfirmed (flavour ban, online rules) | |
| Nunavut | 19+ (unconfirmed) | Planned | Online rules are not confirmed. Nunavut excise stamp required. | Flavours other than tobacco banned (law adopted May 2021, secondary source). | unconfirmed (all, secondary source) |

What the statuses mean
- Will not ship
Quebec and Prince Edward Island. Quebec requires the buyer to be present at an enclosed point of sale, and PEI allows sales only in a tobacconist shop. We will block these provinces at checkout.
- On hold
New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Both require a provincial licence. We will not ship there unless we hold the licence and a lawyer confirms that online sales are allowed.
- Planned
All other provinces and territories, subject to correctly stamped stock and legal sign-off. Ontario is watching Bill 125, which would end online sales there if passed.
Federal rules that apply everywhere
- No sale, sending or delivery of vaping products to anyone under 18 (Tobacco and Vaping Products Act, ss. 8–9). Provinces may set a higher age.
- Maximum nicotine concentration of 20 mg/mL (SOR/2021-123).
- Every package must carry the excise stamp for the province or territory of sale (CRA EDN80).
- Canada Post carries vaping products only by ground service with Proof of Age (Canada Post).
