The rules we follow
This is a plain summary of the main rules that shape this website and the store. It is not legal advice. Laws change; check the sources linked below. Last checked 2026-10-24.
Advertising and this website
Under the federal Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (TVPA) and the Vaping Products Promotion Regulations, a retailer's website counts as advertising. That is why this public site:
- shows no products, brands, prices or product images, because vaping advertising must not be seen or heard by young persons, and Health Canada says websites must verify the age and identity of visitors to restrict youth access (tick boxes and typed birthdates are not enough);
- carries the Health Canada warning at the top of every page, in a black-and-white bordered box covering at least 20% of the first screen;
- uses no people, characters or animals, which the Act treats as testimonials (s. 30.21);
- uses no lifestyle imagery and nothing designed to appeal to young persons (ss. 30.1, 30.2);
- makes no health claims and no comparisons with tobacco products, and makes no claims about quitting smoking (ss. 30.43, 30.44);
- offers no free products, gifts, contests or rewards (ss. 30.5, 30.6);
- shows no reviews, ratings or endorsements.

Age and delivery
- No one may sell, send or deliver a vaping product to a person under 18. Provinces may set a higher age, and most do. TVPA, ss. 8–9
- We will verify age and identity online before showing products, and the carrier will check ID on delivery. See Age and ID verification.
- Canada Post carries vaping products only by ground service and requires Proof of Age for all shipments to consumers. Canada Post
Products the store will carry
- Nicotine concentration of no more than 20 mg/mL. SOR/2021-123
- Packaging and labelling that meet the Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulations, including the nicotine statement, child-resistant containers and toxicity labelling. Health Canada guidance
- No products with flavours or ingredients listed in Schedules 2 and 3 of the TVPA, and only the flavour categories each province allows. TVPA, ss. 30.46–30.48
- Every package must carry the federal vaping excise stamp for the province or territory it is sold into. CRA EDN80; CRA EDN107
Provincial rules
Each province and territory sets its own minimum age, flavour rules and licensing. We will not ship to Quebec or Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are on hold pending licences and legal review. The full table, with sources and whether each rule is verified, is on Shipping and provinces.
Before the store opens
The store will not open until a Canadian lawyer familiar with the TVPA and provincial vaping laws has reviewed the site, the province list and the warning layout.
Health warning wording
The warning at the top of each page is taken from Health Canada's List of health warnings for vaping product advertising:
